Overview

<p>The objective of this Bill is&mdash;<br />a) to reform and update the law relating to private medical and dental practice;<br />b) to regulate the management of private health units:<br />c) to restrict the management of private health units to approved organisations;<br />d) to control fees and other charges payable in respect of medical treatment and other services rendered by private health units; and <br />e) to regulate scales of emoluments payable to medical Practitioners employed at private health units.</p>
