Overview

<p>The object of this Bill is to make miscellaneous amendments in the Local Government Act, Cap 243&mdash;<br />&nbsp;(a)&nbsp; to take account of judgements of Constitutional Court;<br />&nbsp;(b)&nbsp; otherwise to bring the Local Governments Act into&nbsp; conformity with the Constitution; and<br />&nbsp;(c)&nbsp; to effect various improvements that have become necessary in the implementation of the Act in order to make the Act more user friendly, fair and clear.</p>
