Overview

<p>The object of this Bill is to amend the National Resistance <br />Army Statute, 1992&mdash;<br />(a) to provide for appropriate command and control structure for the Uganda Peoples&rsquo; Defence Forces;<br />(b) to amend section 2 to allow the establishment of the Land Forces and the Airforces;<br />(c) to provide for the creation of a common command and control structure for the Uganda Peoples&rsquo; Defence Forces;<br />(d) to create the command of the different services of the army; and<br />(e) to provide for the open procurement of all the requirement of the services.</p>
