Overview

<p>The object of this Bill is &ndash;<br />(a) to revise the law relating to industrial relations;<br />(b) to establish an Industrial Court to handle industrial relations matters from all over Uganda;<br />(c) to establish a more effective and expeditious procedure of settling labour disputes;<br />(d) to bring the services of Labour Officers nearer to the people;<br />(e) to foster tripartism and <br />(f) to repeal and replace the Trade Disputes (Arbitration and Settlement) act, Cap 224.</p>
