Overview

<p>The object of this Bill is &ndash;<br />(a) to consolidate and revise the law relating to employment;<br />(b) to revise and modernise the law relating to individual employment and introduce protection against unjustified dismissal;<br />(c) to give effect to articles of the Constitution relating to freedom of association, prohibiting child labour, and advancing equal opportunity; and<br />(d) to repeal the Employment Act, Cap 219</p>
