<p>The Animal Diseases (Amendment) Bill, 2005<br />The object of the Bill seeks to amend the Animal Diseases Act, Cap. 38, in order to increase the penalty prescribed for commission of an offence under the Act which, owing to the fall over the years in value of the Uganda currency, is now considered to be unrealistic.</p>
